Very tight in the arm pits

I am a big fan of mountain hardwear and I was specifically looking for a shell by them because I knew it'd be of high quality. The length of the body and arms fit great which is difficult to find for a tall person like me (6'0"). The reason I returned the jacket is that no matter the size, the arm pits are extremely tight. It fits if you don't wear anything underneath. If you wear a soft shell, sweatshirt or anything, the armpits are uncomfortable tight. Other than that, awesome coat!

Purchased the Asteria for a winter backpacking trip. I was really looking forward to testing out the DryQ Elite and it lived up to expectations - no soggy insides! There are more zippers on this jacket than I need, but when you have them you use them! I purchased a size larger than I normally wear so I could squeeze a couple layers underneath in camp and it worked out well. All in all I'm excited about it and looking forward to getting out in it again.

Great all around jacket

I've been looking for a hardshell mostly for skiing and this jacket is awesome! It keeps my body temperature regular while keeping me warm. It's not think, so the idea is to layer up underneath but I would much rather this route.
